There will be an international Conference in early 2018 at Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria to discuss Operational Research in relation to development in deveoping countries. The conference is aimed at bringing together academics, researchers, professionals and industry experts from around the world to discuss the most recent developments in Operational Research and Management Science (OR/MS). The conference covers all aspects of OR/MS with particular emphasis on methodology and applications.

The host community, Akwa Ibom State, with a great record of peace and security, is located in the coastal southern part of the country, lying between latitudes 4°32′N and 5°33′N, and longitudes 7°25′E and 8°25′E. The state is located in the South-South geopolitical zone, and is bordered on the east by Cross River State, on the west by Rivers State and Abia State, and on the south by the Atlantic Ocean and the southernmost tip of Cross River State. Thursday, March 15, 2018:

Scientific Sessions  - Paper Presentation: There will be presentation of papers at the Conference and we have commenced receiving of papers for presentation at the conference. Abstracts of papers for presentation should be sent on or before January 25, 2018 to Abstracts of approved Papers to be presented will appear in the Journal of Abstracts and the Authors will be informed before the conference. All successfully presented papers that meet the expectations of the Editorial Board of The Institute of Operational Research and Management Sciences (IORMS) Journals will be published in IORMS Journal of Operational Research and Management Sciences at an extra cost (check amount on IORMS Journals website) not later than a month after the conference. Pre-conference workshop on Optimization with Matlab



The Optimization Toolbox is a collection of functions that extend the capability of the MATLAB numeric computing environment. The toolbox includes routines for many types of optimization including
